We're working on it - look for news on this in early 2012! Until then, Sugar Daze will continue to operate as a custom-order business with most orders placed via internet. For more details, or to find out about public events where you can get your hands on Sugar Daze cupcakes, please come check out my new page on facebook.

Fill out the contact form by clicking on the envelope button at the bottom of this screen. Please note orders are taken on a first-come first-serve basis so be sure to get in touch early to avoid disappointment.

Your cupcakes are always made from scratch for your specific order. I don’t freeze left-over batter or baked cupcakes, and I don’t keep extra cupcakes on-hand like you’d find in a bakery. For most of my recipes, 6 is the minimum number of cupcakes I can bake at a time.

Absolutely! Each batch of cupcakes I create is different from the last. You can find plenty of inspiration by looking at some of my past orders on flickr. If you have a special theme, color or decoration in mind, just tell me and I’ll come up with the perfect match for your event. Of course if your needs aren’t so specific, that’s fine too – you’ll always receive a gorgeous selection of cupcakes made just for you.

Sure! Sugar Daze makes any event even more special. I can either bake for you and provide just the cupcakes (I do this frequently for private sales, press meetings and corporate functions) or lead you and a group in a cupcake baking and decorating class (which I do often for bachelorette parties and birthdays). Get in touch with me at info@sugardazecupcakes.com to discuss the details of your event.

Congratulations! I adore wedding orders. Cupcake towers are catching on in France for special occasions and they make a beautiful presentation on a dessert table. To arrange for a tasting where we’ll discuss your needs for the big day, send me an email. Note: a 50% non-refundable deposit is required when you book to reserve your specified date.

I pride myself on baking your cupcakes the day of your order. It’s what makes them taste so dang good. Your cupcakes can be kept for 72 hours once they have been baked (all cupcakes are preservative-free) but are best eaten fresh. Don’t store them in the fridge; they stay moistest when kept in a Tupperware-type box in a cool place.

Obviously some people have bigger appetites than others, especially when it comes to indulgent Sugar Daze desserts. As a rule of thumb, I suggest:
1-2 regular-size cupcakes per person; 3-4 mini cupcakes per person.
Cakes: a giant cupcake serves about 15, a 6-inch cake about 10, and an 8-inch cake about 20. Larger cakes are available; email me to discuss your event needs.

Sugar Daze guarantees delivery on orders over 100 regular-size cupcakes within Paris intra-muros (for an additional charge). For all other Paris orders, delivery is available but not guaranteed – it depends upon our busy delivery boys’ schedules.

I like La Poste ‘cause they deliver all sorts of baking supplies and other goodies I need, but unfortunately they’re not too well equipped for shipping fragile cupcakes. Sorry, at this time, I don’t ship.

Sugar Daze has a range of cupcake stands available for rent for your party. I can deliver and set up your cupcakes at your event or just rent you a stand. Please get in touch to discuss these options.

Yes, Sugar Daze was founded in 2008 as Little Miss Cupcake but unfortunately, I was too busy baking and satisfying cupcake-starved customers to trademark the name. Then a store opened with a strikingly similar name and customers got confused. The competitor’s cupcakes were nothing like mine and people wrote *me* to complain thinking they had tasted my cupcakes. To end the confusion and protect my reputation, I changed names in September 2010. I like Sugar Daze – it’s more unique, ownable and well, I do love sugar!

To ensure your cake arrives at its destination in one piece, I often place a support (a plastic straw or bamboo dowel) running right down the middle. You'll see it when you cut into your cake. Just discard it before you serve to your guests.

Do I really have to pick just one? I seriously LOVE cupcakes. There are a few cupcakes on my menu that I have a certain weakness for – Dancing Queen, I Love You Honey Bunny and Cookie Monster, but if I was stranded on a desert isle and had to pick just one, it would have to be my Kiss Kiss Bang Bang red velvets. I love the tang from the buttermilk and vinegar, the light chocolate taste, the vibrant red color and the thick perfectly sweet vanilla bean cream cheese frosting!

Definitely! I love hearing from fans and getting customer feedback. Email me with any ideas, suggestions or questions and I’ll try to get in touch as soon as I can take a cupcake break.

I grew up on 80’s big hair bands and 90’s grunge and rap. I listen to A LOT of music while I am creating my cupcakes and am often inspired by the songs. Plus, everyone knows singing to a cupcake while it bakes makes it taste better. Currently the cupcakes and I have been listening to a lot of 30 Seconds to Mars, the Chili Peppers and Guns ‘n’ Roses.

As much as I could use the help, Sugar Daze is a small family-run business. I am not currently looking to bring in any part-time or full-time help (interns included) though I thank you for your interest.
